Why is coaching insurance important? Whilst we know horses can act unpredictably at times this doesn’t mean that it doesn’t take you and those you coach by surprise. You have a duty of care to ensure that those you coach are doing so in a safe manner and you have taken all steps to ensure that the environment is as safe as possible. Insurance for you in your coaching role is there to protect you in the event of an accident – it is your livelihood at risk after all!
